Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role, requiring availability Monday through Friday. Flexibility to work during our standard business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST is essential, including a weekend rotation. Occasionally, overtime may be necessary based on business demands. You will receive one week of paid training, conducted during standard hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding service to patients.
- Schedule post-discharge appointments adhering to a 7-day protocol.
- Create authorizations within a 7-day timeframe, ensuring accurate patient information.
- Manage multiple tasks across various software in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize work effectively to respond promptly to requests.
- Exhibit communication skills that reflect UnitedHealth Group's commitment to superior patient service.
- Utilize critical thinking to manage phone calls, authorizations, and other issues.
- Follow departmental processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain productivity targets and confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate as a team player and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, within the specified hours, including weekends and occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a call center environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams).
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.

Telecommuting Requirements:
- Secure handling of sensitive company documents.
- A dedicated workspace that ensures privacy.
- Access to a high-speed internet connection approved by UnitedHealth Group.
