Job Summary:

The Patient Registration Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating the transition of new patients to Option Care Health services. This position is responsible for coordinating with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with patients and referral sources to gather necessary information and coordinate discharge.
  • Prepare patients for Option Care Health services by creating and communicating required documentation.
  • Secure upfront payment and assist patients in finding avenues for payment where needed.
  • Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims and denial management.
  • Collaborate with Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager on special assignments as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in related field required.
  • Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus.
  • High degree of customer service skills required.
