About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Locksmith Technician to join our team. As a Lead Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial hardware, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform emergency work orders for commercial clients
  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial hardware, including safe, video surveillance, and door installation
  • Modify hardware for locks and create and maintain master key systems
  • Commercial lock re-keying/pinning of locks
  • Interpret instructions, troubleshoot, and clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate, and service equipment used
  • Present information to customers and commercial clients
  • Perform small projects as directed by management and complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical hands-on field experience in locksmithing, access control, door hardware, and other skilled trades
  • Good relationship-building skills with a diverse population, including customers, partners, technicians, and company employees
  • Good verbal and communication skills, ability to manage multiple functions at the same time, and good organizational skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, capable of working effectively as part of a team, and able to work safely on ladders
  • Ability to drive in compliance with company vehicle policy and provide a high level of timely and accurate customer service
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to fluently understand, speak, and write English
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs, kneel, crouch, and stoop, reach above and below the shoulders, use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull, and climb a ladder and work above ground
