At Avenu Insights & Analytics, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing operational support and ensuring efficient, reliable system functionality for our CassWorks Work Order Application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the CassWorks Work Order system
- Develop and distribute system reports, conduct ongoing updates to asset-data, and maintain overall accuracy for the Agency's assets
- Collaborate with the CassWorks Project Manager to ensure team and agency goals are met consistently and efficiently
- Participate in medium to large-scale team-oriented projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Support, GIS, and/or related fields
- Experience working with Asset Management or Work Order systems is a plus
- Experience with GIS technologies, specifically ESRI, is a plus
- Experience with utility mapping is a plus
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual workstation, using telephone and computer
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
- This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
- The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
