Job Summary

As a Patient Access Department Manager at Conifer Health Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Patient Access department. Your primary goal will be to implement process improvements and ensure the safe, timely, and accurate processing of patients through the Patient Access flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to achieve Conifer and client goals.
  • Manage a budget and make informed financial decisions.
  • Lead a team of Patient Access staff, including managers and representatives, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with Client Services to address client needs and concerns related to Patient Access.
  • Communicate proactively with direct supervisors to ensure personal growth and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of management experience in a Revenue Cycle, Business Services, or Acute Healthcare environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Patient Access and regulatory requirements.
  • Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) certification preferred.
Work Environment

The work environment for this position will be in an office setting, with occasional travel required. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
