Position Overview:

The Radiologic Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting Medical Providers and Medical Assistants in the examination and treatment of patients.

This position involves executing a range of technical procedures and utilizing prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities include performing and interpreting patient x-rays and communicating findings to Medical Providers. Additional duties encompass providing administrative support to facilitate the efficient functioning of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants on various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.
  • Utilize professional judgment to deliver healthcare services, including applying x-ray energy to aid in the diagnosis or treatment of patients across all age groups, from infants to seniors.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Relevant state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Preferred experience in a clinical environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
