Job Summary

MedStar Radiology Network - Washington, D.C. & Maryland is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging center, you will be responsible for performing breast imaging procedures and related techniques, producing high-quality data for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform breast imaging procedures and related techniques
  • Mentor and guide other imaging specialists
  • Ensure services are performed in a safe environment, adhering to established guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the imaging center team, providing and seeking feedback for improved clinical practice
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and Mammography
  • State licensure requirement for the state of practice
  • BLS certification within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in mammography and related imaging procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
