The salary for this position is estimated at $85,000 per year, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. Additionally, new teammates are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time positions.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in an inpatient acute level setting. The successful candidate will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer programs of physical therapy to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach their maximum level of independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Select and administer assessment techniques, such as exercises, modalities, and therapeutic groups, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient progress, charges, and other relevant information accurately and efficiently.
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Technicians/Aides as required by licensure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A valid North Carolina license for Physical Therapy.
  • BLS certification per policy guidelines.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced clinical environment, primarily indoors but occasionally outdoors. You must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, and laterally transfer patients weighing up to 100 pounds rarely. Personal Protective Equipment may be required due to possible exposure to hazardous chemicals or blood and body fluids.
