Mental Health Specialist

Eventus WholeHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of innovative treatment plans.
About the RoleThis leadership position involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and delivering therapy to individuals with mental health disorders. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that meet each patient's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations
- Prescribe and manage medications for mental health conditions
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Develop educational programs to support patients and their families
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies, along with current state licensure and certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Additionally, you should have experience in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
