Position Overview:

This role is classified under the Bargaining Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a crucial link between the organization and external technical entities, including IT specialists, functional users, and security experts, to ensure effective program support.

- Formulate and implement database policies and guidelines to establish a robust management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

- Exhibit leadership in managing integrated product teams or highly specialized technical groups, such as software testers, engineers, and security personnel.

- Represent the organization at higher levels regarding intricate and contentious information assurance issues, articulating complex technical requirements clearly.

- Demonstrate technical proficiency in vehicular risk assessments, cross-domain vulnerabilities, and program management methodologies.

- Develop and execute penetration tests to generate comprehensive reports for identifying and mitigating risks.

- Coordinate with external entities for technical vulnerability assessments to counter unauthorized access and system weaknesses.


Qualifications and Conditions of Employment:

Specialized Experience:
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience, which includes:

  • Managing user accounts and access to systems and databases.
  • Diagnosing and resolving user-reported technical issues.
  • Designing and maintaining data storage tools to support agency operations.
  • Utilizing data management tools to assist software engineers in defining data requirements.

Applicants will be evaluated based on their competencies in Information Technology Performance Assessment, Leadership, and Project Management.

Additional Information:
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required. A three-year trial/probationary period may be necessary. Direct deposit of pay is mandatory. This position requires a Non-Critical Sensitive Secret security clearance.
