Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and servicing security systems, including CCTV, burglar alarms, and access control systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and troubleshoot security systems, including control panels, security devices, cameras, and other related equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, plans, schematics, and manuals to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
  • Efficiently diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring optimal performance of security systems.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and inventory managed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every project.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of documented experience or training in security system installation and service.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and multimeters.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50-75 lbs.
  • Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (must pass a driving background check).

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with DSC, Qolsys, 2gig, Napco, Kantech, and analog/IP-based CCTV systems.
