Job Summary

Callanan Industries Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking a highly skilled Quarry Manager to oversee the production operations of our quarry sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient extraction and processing of materials, while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and company objectives.
  • Monitor and control production costs, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimizing waste.
  • Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in a quarry or mining environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving production targets and improving efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
