Network Vice Chair of Operations

The Department of Family Medicine at The University of Vermont is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to fill the role of Network Vice Chair of Operations (VCO) in the Department of Family Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chair in all UVMHN, UVMMG, and Department of FM strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Lead Physician Recruitment and HR oversight across the network for all divisions.
- Support Clinical Operations and Network Department Project Management.
- Develop Network Operational Budget and DFM Compensation Model Annually with the Chair, the Network Department Operations Team, and Financial Specialists.
- Provide oversight of financial performance of the integrated department.
- Provide Network Department of Family Medicine Quality oversight.
- Act as the Department Liaison to the Population Health Service Organization (PHSO) and Network High Value Care (HVC) team.
- At least 5 years leadership experience in Clinical Affairs/Operations is recommended.
- Current Physician Site Leaders, Clinical Leaders, and Vice Chairs for Clinical Affairs or Operations are encouraged to apply.
- Business and Health Care Administration advanced training preferred.
- Candidates with experience in senior DFM operational leadership, Matrixed Health Network leadership, and interdepartmental collaborative engagement are preferred.
