Job Summary

CAMBA is seeking a Vice President to oversee the operations of our family shelters. The successful candidate will have a strong background in shelter management and a passion for providing high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our family shelters, ensuring that all programs and services are delivered in a safe and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and CAMBA's standards.
  • Supervise and support a team of shelter staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that shelter operations are aligned with CAMBA's overall mission and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, making recommendations for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, psychology, education) and at least 3-5 years of experience in shelter management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to shelter operations.
