Logistics Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Specialist to join our team at the Defense Logistics Agency. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of strategies for weapon systems and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Weapon Systems Program Manager in developing and implementing strategies for weapon systems and customer needs.
- Provide dedicated support for DLA demand and supply chains, as well as other DLA Defense Supply Centers.
- Collaborate with Integrated Process Teams to ensure effective logistics support for assigned weapon system platforms.
- Analyze customer forecasting, requisitioning, usage, and return behavior to identify trends and optimize logistics support.
- Responsible for a wide range of logistics support functions for assigned weapon system platforms and programs.
To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. Creditable specialized experience includes working with supply chain support functions, systems planning, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
Education substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
