Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Sensory Analysis Technician II to join our sensory team at JobRialto. This role is essential in supporting various sensory initiatives, including Descriptive Analysis (DA), consumer guidance, difference panels, and team tastings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the sensory team in executing diverse sensory projects.
2. Prepare panels by creating references, preparing samples, and organizing the panel room for training sessions.
3. Manage sensory booths, including labeling sample cups/plates and utilizing the Eye Question program for sensory tests.
4. Serve samples during sensory panels and ensure the cleanliness of the panel room, sample preparation lab, and booths.
5. Maintain the overall cleanliness of the Sensory Center and assist in restocking supplies.
6. Conduct weekly inventory checks and support routine food safety maintenance.
7. Unload, unpack, and label samples for proper storage, adhering to food safety guidelines.
8. Ensure compliance with Client Food Safety, EHS, and PPE policies.
9. Document and safeguard all information to protect patentable technological advancements as per company policy.
10. Effectively manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
11. Collaborate with team members and work independently, demonstrating strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
12. Assist in the transportation of samples and supplies for sensory panels.
13. Maintain and update iPads and laptops on a weekly basis.
14. Complete the Master Sanitation Schedule for the Sensory lab.

Qualifications:

Required:
• High School Degree/GED
• Proven problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Initiative in technical problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Capability to work in a laboratory environment while adhering to good food manufacturing practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and fulfill other physical job requirements
• Valid driver's license for transportation of samples and assistance with panels at various R&D locations.

Preferred:
• 3-6 months of laboratory experience
• Kitchen experience is advantageous.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
