Job Summary:

As a Patient Care Technician at Surgery Partners, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our team. Under supervision, you will perform routine non-professional and professional care, including unbagging and bagging equipment, making up post-op kits, and assisting medical staff with patient care. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine non-professional and professional care, including unbagging and bagging equipment and making up post-op kits
Assist medical staff with patient care, including directing doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms
Maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order
Keep instruments and equipment sterilized

Requirements:

Graduate of a Patient Care Tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients
Current American Heart Assn. BLS certificate required
