Key Responsibilities- Property Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential maintenance issues and proactively address them.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and basic appliance repairs, as well as conduct repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems as needed.
- Customer Service: Respond to maintenance requests from residents and address any concerns in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service and guidance as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that inventory is properly stocked and managed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team and property management to prioritize and complete tasks effectively, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Ability to understand instructions verbally and in written form, and communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and management.
- Physical Demands: Ability to frequently stand and walk, lift and move heavy equipment and supplies, and work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces or mechanical rooms.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate equipment and tools, including power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery.
