Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician (Facilities Technician) to join our team at First Tek. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining utilities and process equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize work activities and duties to maintain facilities.
  • Inspect, repair, replace, service, and maintain existing electromechanical systems.
  • Conduct electrical systems conduit runs, including light and power circuits, motors, control equipment, light fixtures, and panels.
  • Understand and follow safety procedures, maintenance instructions, manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and assembly diagrams.
  • Ensure the safe usage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safety procedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
  • Maintain necessary records/documents of work performed.
  • Follow all safety policy and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
  • Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Years Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of electromechanical and electrical systems, ability to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods, experience in working within a team environment, and ability to adapt to changes in work requirements.
