Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize effective design methodologies and CAD techniques throughout all phases of product development.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Deliver engineering solutions that align with budgetary and timeline constraints.
  • Create precise SolidWorks CAD models and technical drawings.
  • Design and develop efficient mechanisms and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive production documentation and utilize Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and production teams, including overseas engineering partners.
  • Oversee project management duties, ensuring timely reporting and completion of assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Minimum educational requirement: Associate degree in mechanical design, engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in designing high-volume production components and assemblies.
  • Ability to analyze data and devise straightforward solutions to complex challenges.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks; certification as a SolidWorks Professional or higher is preferred.
  • Understanding of various materials and manufacturing processes, including metal fabrication, welding, and injection molding; experience with soft goods is advantageous.
  • Experience in generating production release documentation and familiarity with product data management software.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in consumer products, particularly in the juvenile sector, is a plus.

Location Requirement:
