Role Summary
As an Investment Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating impactful investments in Latin America and the Caribbean. You will be an integral part of our transaction team, contributing to initiatives that can significantly influence investment flows into the region while enhancing CrossBoundary's long-term footprint.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the technical and operational execution of CrossBoundary's mandates in Latin America and the Caribbean.
2. Manage project performance and ensure comprehensive reporting of all project activities and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
3. Facilitate investment processes, including:
a. Identification and evaluation of investment opportunities.
b. Conducting thorough market assessments and ongoing analysis.
c. Performing macroeconomic, regulatory, and operational evaluations.
d. Providing sector-specific analysis for priority investment areas.
e. Sourcing investors and managing diverse investor relationships.
f. Supporting complex transactions and leading negotiations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in prestigious banking, consulting, private equity, or related fields.
- A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Experience in developing countries, particularly in Latin America.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is essential; Portuguese is a plus for candidates in Brazil.
- Proven leadership abilities in dynamic and complex environments.
- Strong analytical skills with a disciplined approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent quantitative capabilities and the ability to apply analytical rigor to challenging tasks.
- Knowledge of corporate finance and familiarity with valuation techniques.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability to changing contexts.
