Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing patients for procedures, including positioning, draping, and sterilization.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, allergies, and medication lists.
  • Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure smooth transitions between procedures and maintain patient safety.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate required at hire.
  • Knowledge of sterile core area, sterile technique, and operating room procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
