As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a vital role in assessing and managing risks associated with the Technology sector. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional insurance solutions that go beyond traditional coverage.
Core Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and underwrite renewal business, identifying opportunities for account rounding.
• Manage new business initiatives, focusing on cross-selling and upselling strategies.
• Apply comprehensive underwriting guidelines to make informed decisions.
• Maintain a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and governance.
• Underwrite renewals within your authority level, consulting with experts as necessary.
• Influence renewal retention and risk-reward outcomes through effective pricing and underwriting tools.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to agency partners, fostering strong relationships.
• Collaborate with fellow underwriters to enhance results and deepen agency connections.
• Identify and source opportunities for team members, promoting a collaborative environment.
• Provide agents with clear guidance on coverage, processes, and resources tailored to their needs.
• Work closely with Operations to manage mid-term changes requiring underwriting input.
• Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of underwriting experience in the Technology Property and Casualty sector is preferred.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High-energy self-starter with resilience and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Goal-oriented with a focus on delivering results.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and strive for excellence.
• Superior technical knowledge and sound decision-making capabilities.
Work Arrangement:
This position offers a flexible work arrangement, with options for hybrid or remote work based on individual circumstances.
Compensation:
The annualized base pay range for this role is $66,640 - $141,720, reflecting our commitment to competitive compensation based on market analysis and individual qualifications.
