  • Uphold a sanitary environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Prepare orders as necessary to ensure efficient production for the service area.
  • Supervise and assess team members; provide guidance and promote employee development, efficiency, and teamwork.
  • Ensure a safe working environment free from hazards.
  • Train and mentor fellow food service staff.
  • Keep detailed logs of all maintenance required for departmental equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled.
  • Recommend upgrades or replacements for existing equipment to meet operational needs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager, utilizing skills and experience to support various programs.
  • Fill in for absent team members as required.
  • Stay informed about daily catering events to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
  • Participate in food service meetings with staff.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members.
  • Occasionally perform cashier duties as needed.
  • Foster positive public relations.
  • Be available for occasional evening and weekend catered events.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal instructions.
  • Completion of a sanitation course is required within the first year of employment.
  • Basic arithmetic skills are necessary.
  • Maintain composure under stress.
  • Knowledge of operating a cost-effective program is essential.
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts effectively.
  • Strong organizational abilities are required.
  • Must be a current student at the Aramark location.
