HVAC Controls Engineer Job Description

The Hunton Group, a leading provider of HVAC solutions, seeks an experienced HVAC Controls Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will design, install, and maintain complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems using your expertise in direct digital controls and building automation systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing control strategies for HVAC systems, including commissioning, programming, and testing.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining and improving existing HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repairing faults.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls engineering, with a focus on direct digital controls and building automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year
