Job Description

The Hunton Group is seeking an experienced HVAC Control System Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure BAS controllers, sensors, and related components according to design specifications.
  • Commission BAS systems, ensuring proper function and integration with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
  • Calibrate and test system components, including temperature sensors, actuators, dampers, and other control devices.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on BAS systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, control problems, and communication issues in BAS networks.
  • Analyze system data and alarms to resolve issues and recommend system improvements.
  • Upgrade and update BAS software and firmware as needed.
  • Provide on-site technical support to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns regarding BAS operations.
  • Train building owners and operators on the use of automation systems, including how to access and interpret data from the control interface.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining strong communication and delivering timely solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and control principles. A valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites are also required.
