Job Description

As a Senior Controls Engineer at DAC, Inc., you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex HVAC control systems.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, from estimating to installation.

  • Develop and maintain accurate equipment schedules, identification documents, and project documentation.
  • Provide engineered solutions to address technical application, installation, and engineering design problems.
  • Verify that installed projects meet specifications by conducting final checks with the Project Manager.

Additionally, you will provide technical support to sales teams during the estimating phase, ensuring up-to-date pricing for equipment used in projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HVAC controls system application engineering and field implementation.
  • Prior experience with DDC, PLC, relays, sensors, and ethernet devices.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and technology systems.
  • The ability to comprehend complex arithmetic functions for computing discounts, ratios, quantities, and part selections.
  • Proficiency in performing computational algorithms for control system functions and performance analysis.
