- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and maintain accurate records.
- Discharge Planning: Collaborate with patients and families to develop discharge plans and ensure a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
- Certification and Licensing: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in chemotherapy infusion, emergency, or critical care nursing.
