Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bus Aide to join our team at Phalen Leadership Academies. As a Bus Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly environment on the bus
  • Enforce safety rules and provide clear instructions to students
  • Monitor students for safety and help with boarding and exiting the bus
  • Position yourself on the bus to ensure observation and assistance to all students at all times
  • Assist with transporting students from designated pickup points and drop-off at school
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the bus driver or school administration
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the assigned bus route and surrounding areas
