Key Qualifications

The Courtesy Technician role is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for individuals possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a commitment to exceptional customer service. While automotive experience is advantageous, we also welcome candidates with backgrounds in retail, sales, or customer service.

Core Responsibilities

In the capacity of a Courtesy Technician, you will thrive in a dynamic and specialized service setting, focusing on guest greetings, customer interactions, and supporting the J-Team in servicing vehicles.

Physical Requirements:

Technicians should be prepared to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces, endure varying temperatures, and work in environments with potential exposure to loud noises and exhaust fumes.

  • A passion for fast-paced automotive service environments
  • Ability to utilize basic hand tools and quickly learn quick lube procedures
  • A positive demeanor, strong work ethic, motivation, and teamwork spirit
  • Capability to lift and transport work-related items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Job Duties Include:

Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming guests upon arrival and delivering outstanding customer service
  • Assisting the J-Team with tasks such as cleaning exterior windows, vacuuming interiors, and ensuring proper tire inflation
  • Completing all necessary safety, service, and training programs through Jiffy Lube University
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Upon certification, you will have opportunities for advancement and training in other roles, such as Lube Technician or Customer Service Advisor.
