Candidate Requirements

The Courtesy Technician role is an entry-level opportunity ideal for individuals with strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a commitment to exceptional customer service. While automotive experience is advantageous, we also welcome candidates with backgrounds in retail, sales, or customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Courtesy Technician, you will thrive in a dynamic and specialized service setting, where your primary duties will include:

  • Welcoming guests upon arrival and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Assisting the J-Team with vehicle service tasks.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety within the shop environment.
  • Completing all necessary safety, service, and training programs through Jiffy Lube University.

Physical Requirements

Technicians should be prepared to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces and work in varying temperatures, including exposure to loud noises and exhaust fumes. The role requires the ability to:

  • Utilize basic hand tools and quickly learn quick lube service techniques.
  • Lift and transport work-related items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending.
