Landscape Operations Supervisor

This role is hourly, full-time, with a pay range of $25.00 to $32.00, determined by experience and expertise, with annual evaluations. The working hours are Monday through Friday. Benefits include performance-based bonuses, vacation time, a 401k plan (with matching), paid holidays, year-round employment, as well as paid training and certifications.
With the potential for performance bonuses and overtime, annual earnings can range from $55,000.00 to $80,000.00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to interpret designs and effectively set up and layout projects.
- Regularly engage with clients, including introductions at project commencement, addressing inquiries, fulfilling client requests, and conducting walkthroughs upon project completion.
- Maintain precise records of all projects.
- Direct and guide the crew's work to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Exhibit leadership qualities to motivate and inspire team members.
Qualifications:
- Experience in both residential and commercial landscaping is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or foreman role is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in landscape, hardscape, or drainage is required.
- Knowledge of landscaping plants, including annuals and perennials, along with horticultural practices is necessary.
- Proficiency in the complete process of hardscape installation is required.
- Ability to operate mechanical equipment, including backhoes, bobcats, and dingos.
- Preferred knowledge in drainage, irrigation, grading, and sod installation.
- Certification as a Landscape Technician (CLT) or a degree in Horticulture is advantageous.
- Experience with pest and disease management is preferred.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, honesty, reliability, and pride in quality work.
- Ability to consistently meet and exceed efficiency and quality standards on job sites.
- Exemplary customer service skills to surpass client expectations.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent time management skills.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Must be punctual and report to work at the designated start time.
- Physical capability to perform job duties and enjoy working outdoors throughout the year.
- Willingness to assist with snow and ice removal during winter months, along with other varied responsibilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening is required.
