We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Fairborn Cement Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control plant operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Lead by example and promote a culture of safety awareness among direct reports.
- Review and update operational control policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Manage hourly employee schedules, job assignments, and performance.
- Monitor process parameters to optimize production rates and quality targets.
- Ensure that production department tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, industrial engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of three to five years of production experience in heavy industry or manufacturing.
- Thorough knowledge of kiln operating systems and heavy industrial equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Computer literacy skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
