We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Loan Processor to join our team at Weichert Companies. This individual will be responsible for processing and preparing a high volume of loan applications in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in conventional, government, and state bond correspondent loan processing, with a strong understanding of loan processing, credit policy, and RESPA regulations. They will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing loan applications for completeness and compliance with regulations
  • Processing and preparing loans in a timely and accurate manner
  • Identifying and resolving escalated issues
  • Working independently with a Gold Services Manager to provide dedicated processing support
  • Rating the quality of loan applications and providing results to management
  • Ordering ancillary services and indexing loan documentation
  • Submitting loans to the underwriting department and ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service and communicating with borrowers and management
  • Ensuring data integrity and performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in loan processing or sales
  • Previous experience with Encompass loan origination system preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of loan processing and credit policy
  • Ability to accurately process a high volume of loans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to multitask
