Loan Processor Job Description

Deraaff Capital and aj3 management is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our highly productive and skilled lending team. As a Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in managing the loan process from origination to close, ensuring compliance with current lending policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order property and loan documentation, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records, to facilitate mortgage loan processing.
  • Liaise with the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval.
  • Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial.
  • Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness.
  • Interview prospective loan applicants and assist them in finding the best loan products for their needs.
Requirements:
  • FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in loan processing required.
  • Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Accounting, finance, or business Associate's degree preferred; High school diploma or GED required.
