We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our highly productive and skilled lending team at Deraaff Capital and aj3 management, a Westchester County-based real estate investment firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the loan process from origination to close, ensuring compliance with current lending policies and regulations.
- Order property and loan documentation, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, and contracts.
- Liaise with the underwriting department, loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval.
- Prepare and submit detailed loan packages for approval or denial.
- Collect and verify financial documentation, such as credit reports, to determine creditworthiness.
- FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in loan processing.
- Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Accounting, finance, or business Associate's degree preferred.
Deraaff Capital and aj3 management is a real estate investment firm specializing in executing value-added and opportunistic strategies. We actively acquire and manage investments in the Hudson Valley.
