Cardiology Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Stepdown Unit at Duke Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, provide, and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities for patients with a range of diagnoses, including acute coronary syndrome, post cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring a high level of quality and safety.
- Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for growth and contributing to the development of new initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
- One year or more of RN experience, with a strong background in cardiology medicine.
- Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS certification.
