Low Observable Technology Engineer

We are seeking a talented engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. As a Principal RCS Test Range Radar Operator, you will play a key role in supporting radar cross-section measurement tests of developmental and production systems.
About the Job:
This is an onsite opportunity where you will work primarily at our Tucson location. You will be responsible for creating test matrices and plans, selecting radar parameters and RF feeds, and configuring lab data acquisition equipment. Additionally, you will perform data analysis, design trades, and prediction results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create test matrices and plans, select radar parameters and RF feeds, and document activities related to test preparation, data analysis, and design trades.
- Configure lab data acquisition equipment, near-field SCI, and far-field Radarman instrumentation radar data collection system.
- Coordinate with target handling and facilities personnel.
- Perform early 'quick look' of data and perform data processing and analysis activities to ensure completeness of data packages for customers.
- Mentor early and mid-career engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Eight years of experience in calibrating, operating, or troubleshooting instrumentation radars for far-field RCS measurements.
- Experience using any RCS processing software for data analysis.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in RCS Far Field measurements in various ranges (Direct Illumination Far Field, outdoor, indoor Compact Range, Taper or RCS).
- Experience in RF Near Field RCS measurements (planar, cylindrical, or spherical).
- Experience with operating and/or maintaining the QuarterBranch RadarMan radar system.
