Executive Travel, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and leadership, with a focus on improving financial processes and supporting strategic decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
* Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
* Reporting and oversight of tax preparation
* Manage the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
* Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
* Oversight and ability to do daily reporting requirements per industry requirements
* Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasts.
* Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
* Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
* Monitor and evaluate internal controls to ensure efficiency and compliance.
* Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
* Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

**Qualifications:**

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in public accounting and/or in a similar industry is a plus.
* Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail.

**Working Conditions:**

* Office environment with occasional travel required.
