Role Summary:

Under the guidance of the Director of Operations, Fleet, the Installation Supervisor for Fleet is essential in overseeing the application of vinyl graphics on both individual vehicles and large fleets. This position is responsible for leading a team of two installers, ensuring that all installations are executed efficiently and with meticulous attention to detail, while upholding the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction set by Advertising Vehicles Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of two installers, providing clear direction, support, and training to promote an efficient workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with Advertising Vehicles Inc.'s installation protocols, as well as company standards for quality and productivity.
  • Prepare surfaces adequately for the application of vinyl graphics.
  • Execute the installation of vinyl wraps on various types of vehicles, whether for single units or entire fleets.
  • Safely remove vinyl graphics and adhesives from different surfaces without causing damage.
  • Complete and verify a quality checklist prior to returning vehicles to clients.
  • Utilize tools and heating techniques effectively to guarantee high-quality installations.
  • Contribute to team success by completing assigned tasks and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Utilize company technology effectively.
  • Assist the Installation Supervisor in training and mentoring both new and existing team members to encourage ongoing development and career advancement.
  • Support the Installation Supervisor with daily operational tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet installation is required.
  • 3M certification must be obtained within 3 to 6 months of employment.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams is expected.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Knowledge of best practices for maintaining a safe working environment during installations is crucial.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional quality is required.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary for providing internal customer service.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is important.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs dictate.
  • Consistent punctuality is expected.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions, requiring good eye/hand/foot coordination.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, balancing, and performing tasks at heights, as well as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Capability to climb ladders and scaffolding for installations on larger vehicles.
  • Occasional sitting, pushing, pulling, and effective communication skills are necessary.
  • Good vision is required for inspecting installations and ensuring precision.
  • Ability to lift between 50 to 75 pounds, with physical stamina to remain active throughout the workday.
  • A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for driving company vehicles.
