Fleet Maintenance Analyst

At Rumpke Transportation Company, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Fleet Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial consulting and strategic support to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly fleet maintenance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain statistical forecasts using fleet maintenance software applications to optimize business decision-making.
  • Build strong working relationships with fleet shop managers, supervisors, and parts coordinators to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Review and manage monthly fleet rental spend with various vendors to ensure optimal pricing and warranty.
  • Perform SAP reporting and analysis to compile and prepare reports and graphs, providing insights to improve productivity and pricing.
  • Monitor and analyze statistical data related to parts inventory to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Assist the Assistant Controller with equipment purchases, licensing, permitting, and vehicle tax criteria to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Complete tasks in a safe manner, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.

Requirements:

  • Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting and auditing principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong business acumen, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Professional and effective communication and presentational skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Computer skills, with proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications, and experience with SAP and UKG applications a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional work in areas with dust, odors, mist, gases, or other airborne matter.
  • Continuous work in an office environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel between offices, as required.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language.
