POSITION OVERVIEW

Join SkyBridge Aviation as an Aerospace Quality Inspector, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness and serviceability of various aircraft, including King Airs and Bombardier 6500.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough inspections in accordance with established Repair Station and manufacturer guidelines to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Verify that all facilities, tools, materials, and documentation align with the regulatory requirements of the repair station.
  • Utilize a range of inspection tools and visual aids effectively for accurate assessments.
  • Oversee that all inspections are executed as mandated for scheduled maintenance, modifications, or component replacements, ensuring the use of approved materials and exceptional workmanship.
  • Ensure all necessary tests and evaluations are completed and properly documented before the aircraft is returned to operational status.
  • Examine maintenance records, compile pilot reports, and document any deferred maintenance issues, adhering to Repair Station protocols.
  • Supervise the completion of all inspection record forms to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform initial, in-process, and final inspections to uphold quality standards.
  • Maintain adherence to all regulatory standards and process requirements as outlined by FAA, PMA, DCMA, and AS9100.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience, and related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Possession of an active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of aircraft, systems, equipment, and components.
  • Experience with product audit and inspection processes.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Familiarity with 14 CFR Chapter 1.
  • Knowledge of civil or government aviation inspection operations and FAA Repair Station practices.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) designation is a plus.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector, including the US Department of Defense or Military background.
