Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a RN Resident in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Implement evidence-based nursing practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school
  • RN License (AR or Compact State) - Arkansas State Board of Nursing (ASBN)
  • Recommended: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Certification specific to patient population
