We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a RN II, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill children and their families, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and compassion
- Associate's degree or equivalent in nursing from an accredited program
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric or critical care setting
- Current RN license in Arkansas or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Certification in pediatric critical care or a related specialty
