Geotechnical Project Manager Opportunity

Kleinfelder is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager to join our NorCal Area team. As a key member of our Geotechnical Services group, you will provide technical leadership on challenging projects, covering areas such as soil/rock classification, slope stability analysis, earth retention-systems, deep foundation design, soil improvement techniques, and pavement design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical projects and manage diverse teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth
  • Mentor and guide project teams and staff to ensure effective project delivery
  • Ensure quality and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, with a deep understanding of applicable laws and regulations
  • Proven track record in geotechnical engineering in either a technical or project management capacity within a professional services firm
  • PE certification in CA or the ability to obtain it within 4 months is necessary, GE certification is preferred
