Service Team Lead - Hendrick Lexus North (Kansas City)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Service Team Lead to join our team at Hendrick Lexus North (Kansas City). As a Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for selling, identifying, and documenting service, maintenance, and repair services for customers. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with customers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Documentation: Responsible for selling, identifying, and documenting service, maintenance, and repair services for customers.
  • Scheduling: Schedules service to be performed, ensuring that all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provides exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Leadership: Leads a team of technicians and service advisors, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a service leadership role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with customers and technicians, strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Environment Demands: Duties are generally performed in the service area, with frequent movement around the Service Department to convey information between customers and service technicians.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
