Subrogation Recovery Specialist

CorVel Enterprise Comp, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Subrogation Recovery Specialist to join our team in the Subrogation department. As a Subrogation Recovery Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing within company standards and best practices, handling recovery for Workers Compensation and Auto damage.
Key Responsibilities- Subrogation Potential Identification: Identify subrogation potential based on facts of loss and work closely with Work Comp Claims Adjusters or Liability adjusters to ensure effective recovery.
- Lien Notice Letters: Send lien notice letters to relevant parties and negotiate settlements with injury attorneys to recover damages.
- Claim Status Updates: Communicate claim status with customers and claimants, and maintain a diary to follow up on claims status and Third Party settlements.
- Recovery Negotiations: Negotiate recovery of clients' damages and adhere to client guidelines and participate in claim reviews as needed.
- Professional Relationships: Develop and maintain professional customer relationships and manage a queue of claims with a claim volume.
- Inter-company Arbitration: Assist management in filing Inter-company Arbitration as needed.
- Experience: Experience in workers comp subrogation or auto damage subrogation preferred. Experience in PIP/Med Pay subrogation will also be considered.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate settlement over the phone.
- Analytical Skills: Effective analytical and interpretive skills, with the ability to research, analyze, and interpret nationwide subrogation laws.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Education: Four-year degree at an accredited college or university preferred.
