Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture relationships with a diverse range of commercial real estate developers and brokers.
  • Source, assess, and finalize real estate loans secured by various property types including office, retail, multi-family, industrial, and hospitality.
  • Conduct thorough credit and risk evaluations of real estate collateral, focusing on property economics and market trends.
  • Analyze loan opportunities based on structure, legal documentation, and pricing within established credit risk parameters.
  • Perform annual credit assessments, monitor loan performance, and propose solutions for any non-performing or defaulted loans.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in closing real estate loans across various product types, including multi-family, retail, office, and NNN transactions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with borrowers, loan originators, underwriting teams, and regulatory agencies to ensure efficient closings.
  • Experience working with a variety of lenders, including commercial banks, credit unions, CMBS, and life insurance companies.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
