Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of pharmaceutical services to all hospital areas is in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

  • You will actively review patients' drug therapy and consult with physicians to recommend alternative therapy when necessary.
  • You will document interventions, medication variances, adverse drug reactions, and formulary changes into appropriate databases.
  • You will use pharmacy resources effectively and identify and suggest alternative medications from the formulary.

Requirements:

  • You should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • You should be a graduate of a college of Pharmacy with a B.S. degree.
  • You should have a current professional registered license with the State Board of Pharmacy.

Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
