  • As a Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department, you will lead a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and create a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities

">
  1. Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications

">
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree.
  • Current license to practice in the state of Montana (or ability to obtain).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years of hire.
  • Leadership experience, preferably as a charge nurse or supervisor.

Work Environment and Location

  • This position is located at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana.
  • The scheduled weekly hours for this position are 40 hours.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends may be required.
